BROWNE'S PATENT AUTOMATIC LOOKING WIRE STRAINER Stand the strainer anywhere on the wire with a Browne's patent lever (lever costs 4s), and wind up, it strains the wire from both directions, and locks itself. It will get all the wires to a uniform tightness when fully strained. No trouble to work, and absolutely no fiddling about. To retighten the wire give the strainer anI other cog or two, that's all there is to do, the locking-disc lifts up and settles > down again automatically. When tightening up slack wires in old fences, also when erecting new fences, use this strainer, discard the expense of battens, and easily keep the wires always strained. For plain wire price 10/- per dozen.—The Farmers'?/Union Trading Co., Ltd.
