WAIHI. The following information has cabled to tEe head office of the Waihi Gold Mining Company in. London,: —No. 12 level: In the Bath crosscut on, the Martha. Lode, from 7ft. to 12ft in, the reef is worth 15s 8s a ton. , <s MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. St. Hippo.—The drive north-east on the St. Hippo reof hae been extended 12ft. The country i 3 still mild andesite, ft heavily impregnated with mineral seams. The hanei new all portion of the; reef has been taken down, and the quarts has a very promisingappearance, and still shows a few colours of gold, but is not yet of a payable nature. Kuranui.—The drive on the reef in the Magazine tunnel is now in 378 ft. The country in the face is firm but no defined reef ia showing at present, only small leaders with bunches of quartz making at intervals. Some nice mineral veins are showing in the country. '
