TO-DAY'S FORECAST.
GOVERNMENT REPORT. Tlia Government Meteorologist reported last night as follows:—Present indications are for moderate to strong south to southeasterly winds. The weather will be milder and fair to oloudy generally, but unsettled at times, particularly in northerly and southernmost districts. The barometer is unsteady and will {all in the south after about 20 hours. MR. \\ RAGGE'S FORECAST. The following weather forecast was supplied to us by Mr. Clement L. Wragge last evening: —The big high pressure has now resolved itself into the forjn of a web, while the apex extends betweeit Cape Foulwind and the North Cape. This distribution of pressure means more fine weather with southerly to south-easterly winds, but within the week signs of a new Antarctic do pression named Xilomon should become evident in the far south-western districts, such tj3ing indicated by the shifting of the wind toward north.
