STEAMER STRIKES WHARF.

The steamer Maponrika, ■when arriving from Nelson this morning, -was caught by a violent squall and collided' with the ■wharf, which was damaged to the extent of £200 or £300. Only two rivets were started in the steamer's hullWhen the Mapourika was off Terawhitl' it was discovered that the port to the steward's storeroom had been left cuen.
