CHARLIE CHAPLIN INJURED.
CLOTHES SET ON FIRE. A. and N-Z. LOS ANGELES. May 11. Charlie Chaplin was burned from the ankles to the waist when he tripped over an acety\ine torch during the taking of a film, setting his trousers ablaze. His assistants threw wet blankets around the comedian aria! extinguished the flames. His injuries are not serious.
