DEMPSEY AND CARPENTIER.
INTEREST IN MEETING. SEATS HEAVILY BOOKED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.40 p.m.) NEW YORK. May 11. Mr. Tex Rickard has been notified from London that Lloyds has insured Dempsey and Carpentier for 100,000 dollars against death or accident preventing their appearance in the ring on July 2. Mr. Rickard has announced that the advance applications for seats have reached the value of 200,000 dollars. The indication is that it will be a million-dollar house.
