Seymour, an artisan golfer, who is a step-brother of Abe Mitchell, won the gold vase presented by Golf Illustrated at Sunningdale. with scores •of 73 and 76, against Tolley, Armour, and all the leading amateurs.
After doing two rounds on the St. Andrew's new course on Tuesday, Kirkwood did a third round on the old course in 73. He is now playing great golf.
