MR. JUSTICE FRAZER.
WELCOME IN WELLINGTON.
When Mr. Justice Frazer took his seat in tho Arbitration Court in Wellington on Tuesday, Mr. C. H. Treadwell, as fcenior member of tho Bar present, offered the congratulations of the Wellington legal profession to Hia Honor on his elevation to the Bench. Mr. Treadwell expressed the hope that the relations which had previously existed in the Court between the Bench and the Bar would continue. In reply, His Honor said that his recollections of the local Bar during the period he was in Wellington as a magistrate were very happy, and he was glad to hear that the members of the profession were desirous that the same cordial relations should be maintained. "I know," he' concluded, " that we have difficult times ahead of us in this court, and I hope that I will have the assistance not only of counsel, but also of the Labour advocates, so that the result of our deliberations will be sound, and, I hope, satisfactory."
