Merinos tepmakers are stiffening. ; BUTTER AND CHEESE.' Bntter.—The market is quiet, the trade expecting the Government to reduce prices, as the London price of Danish has been lowered by 10s to 15s, to 2505, 255s per cwt, and a further decline- is probable. Cheese.—The market 13 firm. It is believed that Government stocks lave been cleared.
