NEW IMMIGRATION BILL
ALIENS FOR UNITED STATES. RESTRICTION OF ENTRY. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.8 p.m.) WASHINGTON. April 22. The House of Representatives passed the Immigration Bill, limiting the entry of aliens into the United States to three per cent, of each nationality resident in the United States in 1910. The measure is to be effective for 14 months from the date of its passage by the Senate, to which, it will now be sent.
