CRICKET.
THE AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. The Management Committee of the Auckland Cricket Association met last evening. Professor H. S. Dettman presided. A protest was received from the Technical College A third-grade team against Excelsior regarding the time at which Btumps were drawn in their match on Saturday last. The committee decided to uphold the protest. It would have preferred to order a replay, but as this was impossible it had no option but to award the Technical College team the match, which makes them winners of the third-grade championship.
