BRITAIN IN PACIFIC.
■ ~s»AN ISLANDS FEDERATION. ADVOCATED IN FIJI. A. and N.Z. SUVA, April 13. At a meeting u f the Fiji Legislative Council this morning, Mr. Henry Milne Scott moved that, in the opinion of the Council, the interests of the Empire in the Pacific would be best served by a confederation of the British islands in the Western Pacific, governed and controlled from a common centre. This was carried by the elected members.
