FIRE IN NEW PLYMOUTH.
[M TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. A fire occurred at 8 o'clock last night on the premises of West and Sons, painters and paperhangers. Owing to the flames having, a good- hold before beiaig discovered, and the inflammable nature of the stock, the fire was not suppressed before the building was g'utted and practically a total loss. 'Hie insurances were : Building £600, in the Sun office; stock, £600. in the United, and £600 in the Royal Exchange. The loss above insurances* is from, £1000 U> £1500.
