Snooker is still the I greatest feature, and in this connection a 1 wonderful performance was put up by the. 1 New Zealand champion. Billy Stephenson, | j on a standard Alcock table this week. With j : C. Roberts as an opponent. Stephenson made : ! a break of 36 off tho first innings, and on I i Roberts 'going to the table and failing lo j ■ score, Stephenson potted the whole of the I j remaining balls, running up a break of 85. . ! and making his score 121. In two cues on a standard table this is probably a world's rei cord.
