PIGEON RACING.
WEST AUCKLAND CLUB 3 The West Auckland Flying Club held a , '■ race from Te Awamutu on Saturday. The ; ! fact that a high wind was blowing, and , i that the birds were liberated four hours later than the scheduled time, did not contribute toward fast flying. It was a closa finish, however, and the velocity was much better than was anticipated. The first eight birds to finish were:—E. J. Stephen's b. c. hen Bracacia, 1193 yds. per minute, 1; R.
