INTERNATIONAL LABOUR.
THE NEXT CONFERENCE. LONDON. Feb. 21. The agenda paper for the next International Labour Conference to be held at Geneva in October, largely deals with the question of adapting a number pf ameliorative conditions adopted in other occupations, to agricultural labour. Other items include the disinfection of wool infected with anthrax spores; prohibition of the use of whitelead in painting ; a weekly restday ; prohibition of the employment of anybody under 18 years as trimmer or stoker; and the compulsory medical examination of children employed on ships.
