Mr. A Poynton, Minister for Home Affairs, received information from tSie United States explaining that the charge of ten dollars for viseing passports of visitors to Honolulu and Manila is fixed by law. Australians and New, Zealanders could not be exempted without similar exemption being made in the cases of natives of other countries.
