DEMAND FOR LIVESTOCK. PLEA FOR POSTPONEMENT. (Received 1.5 a.m.) Renter. VTENNA. March 13. A sudden and peremptory demand by the Austrian section of the Reparation Commission for the delivery of milch cows and live stock to Italy, Yugoslavia and Rumania, has created amazement and indignation. The Vienna press de- j nounces such action, and declares that | if the demand is enforced the present appalling high rate of infant mortality will certainly be increased. Dr. Resch, Minister for Social affairs, says that the fulfilment of the demand is absolutely impossible. He states that negotiations are proceeding for an indefinite postponement of the clauses of the Treaty of St. Germain, providing for the delivery of live stock. DELEGATION IN LONDON.
