Evening Star r The drive east of Jfo. 1 winze on the Waiotahi-Cambna. reef has been advanced 6ft. The total width VW reef exposed is 4ft. The hangingwall in not showing. The ore looks favourable It 13 carrying * good deal of zinc blende, and colours of gold can be seen in the ore. The drive on the Evening Star leader has been advanced 6ft. The country is all good class of andesite, carrying numerous mineral veins. Hauraki Mines: The mine manager telegraphed yesterday as follows':—Winze and rise connected on Saturday, preparing drive on reef north and south
