HOUSE AT ONEHUNGA
Application was made in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., by the owner of a sixroomed house in Onehunga to have the standard weekly rental—7 per cent, on the capital value, plus all outgoings—determined. The house, which was built 31 years ago, had been occupied by the present tenant for about 14 years, the rent fuT. m? u lss a weck - The own er stated that the house was in good repair, and had it been empty recently she could have sold it for £850. The latest Government valuation of the property was £675 The evidence showed that rates, insurance deIvoT l^ 0 "' ™ nd othcr items > amounted to ±-21 7s. The magistrate fixed the rental at £1 6s a week.
