| UNSOLVED MEDICAL PROBLEM
DISEASE DEFIES CONTROL. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association.
(Kecd. 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 1. The Ministry of Health has issued its first report on the results of an intensive study of the influenza scourge. The report states that the cause of the pandemic is still an unsolved problem. The immediate out]<x>k does not inspire confidence. Until a universal improvement in the standard of comfort and conditions of life is secured there can be no prospect of effectively mitigating the incidence of this disease. Other diseases have been brought under control, but influenza stiU eludes us.
