Cable Association 'Retd. 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 23. The Palestine Foundation Fund lias issued a manifesto signed by Lord Roths- ! child. Sir Alfred Mond, Dr. "Weizmann, and other distinguished Jews, appealing to Jews throughout the world to subscribe £35,Q30,000 for the reconstruction of Palestine. The manifesto states that the lofty enterprise to which Jewry stands committed in the world's eyes demands the active co-operation of all Jews. A supreme effort is required and must take the form of self taxation, steady, persistent, aud systematic, inspired by the noble Jewish tradition of the tithe.
