It is feared that this portends the Bolshevising of the whole of the Caucasus, which would be a safe base for operations against Persia. OFFENSIVE IN THE SPRING. ARMIES CONCENTRATING. (Reed. 5.20 p.m.} LONDON, Dec. 22. There is every indication of a hurricane I offensive in the East in the spring. It is reported from Riga that the Reds are concentrating the third army on the Esthonian frontier, and the seventh and fifteenth armies to the southward. A renewal of the Bolshevik attacks is expected in February, as they believe that a new war is the only means of saving the Moscow Government.
