BOY SCOUT CAMPS.

Much interest is being taken bv the boy scouts in the No. 1 Auckland district of the Dominion Boy Scouts' Association in the camp which will be opened in the Henderson Domain on Monday nest. The camp equipment was despatched last e\ening, and the advance guard, under Adjutant Veart, will go into camp to-day. The mam body of the scouts, about 200 in number, trill go into camp on Monday morning next. The boys will all assemble the Mount Eden railway station at 9-30 a-rn., and- will leave for Henderson by the 9.42 train. M*. A. S. Oxlev, acting-district commander, will be "in charge of the camp. The officers and scouts will undergo a course of training under qualified instructors during the for£ night to be spent in camp, and a number of interesting competitions, for which trophies have been presented, will bo held A rally and display of scout work will be given on January 8, on which day, 3s well as on New Year's Day, the camp will be open to visitors. A post office will be provided at the camp. The St. Barnabas' trooo of the Xo. 2 (Diocesan) scout district 6 will hold their annual camp at the Spit, Tamaki West, under Scoutmaster R. E. Clarke. Ths camp will be opened to-morrow. It is intended to devote the mornings to instructional work, and the afternoons to games. Visitors' day will be New Year's Day.
