The Kaiwarra is expected to complete the discharge of her cargo of superphosphates trom Makatea Island to-day, and will afterwards bo floated into the Calliope Dock for cleaning and painting. She will probably sail for Makatea Island to-morrow to load a further cargo of superphosphates for the Dominion. . Th«. Paloona is to leave Wellington this ifternoon for Melbourne. The Taluco arrived 'at Papeete on Sunday morning in continuation of her trip, through the Eastern Pacific Islands, and left on Monday fori Makatea Island to load superphosphates for Auckland. She is expected -to arrive at this port about January 4. The Mararoa. which left Auckland on Monday evening for Napier and Gisborne, is expected to reach this port on the return .oyage on Saturday. The Mqana was expected to leave Suva last evening for Auckland with passengers and a cargo of fruit. The threermaated schooner Valmarie arrived at Dunedin on Tuesday evening with a. cargo of hardwood from Hobart. The Port Napier is expected to arrive from Gisborne on Saturday to complete her loading for London. She is announced to sail for the Home port on December 31. The three-ma-stud schooner Louis Xhierault, which put into Sydney on September t> m a leaky condition wJilU} bound from Adelaide to Wanganul, resumed her voyage yesterday. ~ THE COLLIERS. ARAWA FROM SOUTHAMPTON. Tins Arawa, which is' coming to the agency of L. D. Nathan and Co., Ltd.* is due at Auckland from Southampton at daybreak on Sunday. She has 460 passengers and a large general cargo for the Dominion. The Auckland portion of her freight consists of 3500 tons. . THE PORT MELBOURNE. A wireless message was received from the Port Steibourne yesterday to the effect that she expected to arrive on Sunday afternoon. 'lh_e vessel is from New York. From Auckland afce will proceed to Lytteltoa, Dunedin. Bluff. and* Australian ports. TAHITI AT VANCOUVER. The R.M.S. TgluU arrived at Vancouver i from Auckland, via Island ports, at 5 p.m. last Sunday. She is to sail from, Vancouver this week for Honolulu, Wellington, and Sydney. THE COLLIERS. The barquentine Lindstol arrived from Newcastle yesterday afternoon with 518 tons of coal and anchored in the stream. She sailed from Newcastle on December 4, in company with th fi barque White Pine, and for six days both vessels kept together. On the seventh day, however.- the Whit© Pine got well clear oi the Lindstol. reachiAg Auckland or. December 16. TJi e Port Nicholson, in continuation of her voyage from London and Australian ports was ospooled to leave Sydney for Auckland yesterday.
