BREAKING AND ENTERING.
BOY ADMITS TWO CHARGES
Two charges of breaking and entering and theft were admitted by a 14-year old boy, who appeared before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., in the Juvenile Offenders Court on Saturday. It was stated that on November 23. the boy had entered a house in Khyber Pass, and had taken £2 from a drawer in a sideboard. The money had been spent on lollies. On another occasion he had visited the house on a Sunday evening while the occupants were at church. He found a bottle of cream and drank it. Sergeant Rowell said he could offer no reason for the offences. The bov came of a good family, was intelligent, and received sufficient, money for his needs. The mother said the boy had suffered from meningitis some time ago. and felt the effects of it at times. The magistrate, after admonishing the boy, ad journed the case for six month's' and ordered him to report weekly to the probation .officer. An order was made for restitution o'Pthe money.
