DEATH IN PRISON.
(BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Alexander Tough, a widower, aged 68 years, died in the Paparua Prison on ■Wednesday, . while undergoing medical treatment. . -An inquest was- opened today. _ Formal evidence as to committal was given, and the inquiry was adjourned.
