MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD BOARD
The last meeting of the Mount Roskill "Road Board -was attended by Messrs G. E. Tansley (chairman), E. J. Herd. J. J, Pres. tori, and S. Scarborough. It was agreed to protest against the proposal of the Public Health Department to close Te Waikato Sanatorium. t Tho Hospital Board asked to be paid a portion or the allocation due, £945. and it 'A-as decided to pay £250. The board's engineers, Messrs. Lockie ' Gannon - and. Worley. submitted plans and specifications, -with /ail estimate 'of the cost ! Sot* kerbing and channelling- Mount Albert jio&d tiojii ilia Royal Oak to, Crown Street. '
