FOUND DROWNED IN HARBOUR
VERDICT AT THE INQUEST.
An inquest was held by the coroner, Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., yesterday, concerning the death of Mr. Alfred "Samuel Alderton, a ;-Parh"ell resident, aged : 46, .whose body -was found floating in the Orakei Basin on Tuesday: afternoon;;, After hearing the evidence the coroner returned a verdict to the effect that deceased;"was drowned in the Auckland Harbour on orabout December ' 1," no evidenced' having been submitted to show how deceased got into the water. : s ---:.■ -..">;.-";.: S .«*>;; ■
