THE LONDON SALES.
LESS THAN QUARTER SOLD. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 7. / The wool sales opened weak. Of 9369 bales offered 2073 were New Zealand. There was a good attendance of Home, Continental, and American buyers. About 2000 bales were sold at Government reserves, which were unchanged. What was sold consisted of odd lots bought for urgent requirements. The prices offered for the unsold lots were •from 10 to 20 per cent, below the November rates.
