ALLEGED BANK FRAUDS.
TOTAL OF £45,000 INVOLVED. BRANCH MANAGER charged. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 16. John Berman, manager of the "Whitechapel branch of Lloyds bank, was charged to-day, with a customer named Jacob Prager, with being concerned jointly in forging acceptance of a bill for £940. The prosecution stated that prisoners admitted similar forgeries involving a total of £45,000.
