OLD MAN'S SUICIDE.
[BT TEI.EGEAPH.OWN CO3.LS BENT ] THAMES. An inquest into the death of Williaa Kennedy, who was found in his bed yesterday morning in a dying condition with his throat cut, was held this morning. The evidence showed that the deceased was 75 years old and had been for some years living with Mr. G. Winder, of Parawat. He occupied a bed in a room in a detached building. He was apparently in his usual health when last seeu on Monday even»:g bat when his room was visited 011 Tuesday morning to discover why he was riot about he was found lying in bed with his throat cut. So far as is known the deceased was a single man and had no relatives :n the Dominion, although he was hern st Auckland. A verdict of suicide was returned.
