TIMBER TRAIN WRECKED.
WEST AUSTRALIAN SMASH. ELEVEN LIVES LOST. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9 30 p.m.) PERTH. Nov. 8. A timber train of 54 trucks, laden with sleepers weighing 600 tons, was derailed when travelling down a steep grade at Workalup, 27 miles from Bunbury, on a private line owned by Millar and Company. Eleven persons were killed and two were seriously injured. Most of the victimsmembers of the crew of the train and a number of millwprkers were crushed under the sleepers.
