The Wanaka arrived from Timani early on Saturday morning with a cargo of produce and berthed at the Hobcon Wharf. She is announced to sail for Dunedin, via ports, next Friday. The master of tho Clanimian, which arrived from Russell on Saturday, reports having passed a rait of iQga drifting four miles south of Tiritiri. The Koromiko i» expected to loa've here to-morrow for Newcastle, . where she will load coal for a. New Zealand port. i The Mararoa. is due at Auckland early this morning from Napier and Gisborne with passengers and cargo. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf, and is to sail for Napier, via ports, to-morrow at 11 a.m. A wireless message was received from the masted barquontine E. R. Sterling on Saturday to the effect that she was' 350 miles east of the Three Rings at 3 p.m. that day. She is en . route from Newcastle io Auckland with 4000 tons of coal for the Railway Department. The Waimarino arrived at Wellington yesterday from Vancouver with a general cargo. Tho Now Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Waimate has been fixed to load at Avonmouth and St. John-in January for New Zealand ports. The Shropshire is due at Wellington from Bluff on Friday to complete her loading for Liverpool and Avoamoutb. She is to tail for the Homo ports on November 1& " The Firebrand (late Torch), which is undergoing extensive alterations at Wellington, is to be employed in the- Chatham Islands trade. She will have accommodation for about 30 passengers, and will be equipped with cold storage for the carriage of fish. The Kaiapoi left for Whangarei on Saturday evening to load cement for Wellington. MAHENO FROM SYDNEY. The Maheno is expected to arrive'from Sydney at 10 &.m. to-day with passengers and cargo. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf, and is to sail for Sydney next Thursday. THE YECHIGO MARU. 1 The Japanese steamer Yecbigo Maru i*. expected to reach Auckland this week from Buaellin. Western Australia, with » cargo of hardwood. * UNION COMPANY'S VESSELS. The Marama arrived *t San Francisco at 3 p.m. on Thursday, from Wellington, and sails on the return trip on November 8. Tho Katpa is loading at Newcastle for Auckland. The Garbeta loads at Newcastle next week for Auckland. The- Kaituna arrived at Melbourne on Friday afternoon from Hokiansa. and loads at Melbourne and Newcastle for Auckland. The Moeraki. nonoverhauling at Port Chalmers leave* there about November 24 for Wellington. Sydney, and Hobart. in place of the Moans. THE PORT KEMBLA. The Port Kcmbla, en rout* from London and Australian ports to Auckland, left Port Kembla at 6 p.m. on Thursday, and is duo Jjere to-night or to-morrow morning. Shf> hs* 1400 tons of cartro to discharge here, and will then load 20.000 boxes of butter. The Port Kembla proceeds to Napier and Wellington toward the end of the week.
