ECONOMY IN GERMANY.
UNIVERSITIES CLOSED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.30 p.m.) BERLIN. Nov. 6. The German Government, for reasons of economy, is closing the universities of Halle, Greifswald, and Marburg, thus enabling it to make provision to finance the universities of Cologne, Bonn, Heidelberg, and Karlsruhe.
