ARRANGEMENTS FOR. RECEPTION.
The arrangements for the reception 0 Go-ernor-General, Viscount Jeliieoe and Lady Jellicoe to-morrow were detail by the Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson. SJJ City Council meeting last evening. l« Gunson said he had conferred with th 9 officer /xrnimanding the district, Colon.] RH. , Potter. I t had been arra nged that Colonel Potter would meet the GovernorGeneral at the railway station w-'ti guard of honour. The Mayor would receive the Governor-General on the arrival of the train and would immediately leave for the Town Hall. Lord Jellicoe would inspect the guard of honour and w<mld then proceed to the Town Hal, w here he would be met by the Mayor and members of the council. The Defence authorities have arranged for a guard of honour, 100 strone, with three officers with colours, to be ire* ent at the Auckland railway station on the arrival of Lord Jelli;oe at 2.55 p.m. The guard of honour, which has been drawn from the 3rd, Auckland, Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly's Own), will also attend the Governor-General at th" station on his departure from Auckland at 7.10 p.m. on Monday. The 3rd Infantry Band will play on the occasion of the arrival to-morrow, and also at the invefti ture and levee to be held at Government House on Monday afternoon. During Their Excellencies' visit in Auckland they will stay at the Grand Hotel
