NORTH-WEST FRONTIER.
WAZIRIS RAID A POST. A BRITISH ULTIMATUM. Reuter. DELHI. Oct. 27. One hundred and fifty Waziri tribesmen raided Kamar Bridge camp, on the Jandola Road, on the North-west frontier, and rifled stores. In beating off the raiders the British suffered 16 casualties. The raiders left one dead. Having settled the Mahsud trouble, the Indian Government has sent terms to the Wana Waziri tribesmen, who actively assisted Afghanistan in\the last Var. The terms include a fine of £5000, surrender of tribal rifles, and the right to locate troops and build posts along the roads in the Wana country. The tribes are allowed a month in which to reply to the ultimatum.
