Heavy rain and flooded rivers have been reported in the West Coast districts, but warm and hazy conditions have iuled on the East Coast. Present indications are for strong north-west to south-weet winds, and , unsettled, squally weather.. with colder conditions soon. Heavy showers are prob able in many parts, especially in western and southernmost districts. The barometer is unsteady, but will rise shortly in the South. . The Kaituna left Hokianga for Melbourne at ten o'clock yesterday morning. The Kamona will go into dock for cleaning on Saturday. She will sail on Tuesday for Southern ports. The Kaiapoi is due on Sunday morning with general cargo from Adelaide. The Wanaka left Bluff yesterday for Auckland, via Oamaru and Timaru. The Kaiwarra is to sail for Makatea Island" on Monday. The Wairuna will sail for Wellington on Monday. The Canadian Exporter is due here about November 20 from Adelaide. She will load here for 'Vancouver direct. , The Rakanoa, which arrived from - Wellington ,on Monday, berthed at the King's . iarf yesterday.. The Koromiko, which arrived from Lyttelton on Tuesday, berthed at the Queen's Wharf Yesterday. The Mokoia, which has been discharging sugar at Chelsea, will berth at the Central Wharf this morning. The Port Augusta, from New York is due here on Monday night. The Port Caroline is expected to sail for Napier on Wednesday. The barquentine Lindstol is in the stream awaiting favourable weather to sail tor Newcastle. It is expected that she will sail this morning to load coal for Auckland. The Garada is expected to sail at noon to-day for Wellington. The Waitemata left Newcastle with a cargo of coal for Auckland at nine o'clock on Wednesday morning. *The . New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaka sailed from Newport News for Southampton on October 23. x The' Orari.. en route from Liverpool to Auckland, sailed from Newport News on October 23. The Remuera arrived at Colon on October 23, and is due at Wellington on November 13. CITY OF NEWCASTLE. The City of Newcastle,, which arrived from New York yesterday morning, is in stream awaiting a berth. She brings 1600 tons of cargo for Auckland, including a quantity of benzine and kerosene. Captain G. Clark is in command. After discharging here she will sail for Wellington, thence to Australian ports. THE WAIRUNA. The Wairuna, which arrived from San Francisco on Wednesday evening, berthed yesterday morning at the King's Wharf Under the command of Captain D. Ritchie she sailed from San Francisco on October 2 and called at Suva on October 22 to replenish her bunkers. She has a cargo of case oil. onions, timber, and general merchandise. After discharging here she will leave for Wellington, thence to Melbourne and Sydney. THE SYDNEY SERVICE. The Maheno sailed for Sydney with passengers and cargo last night. She is due back here on November 8. The Riverina left Sydney for Auckland at 2 p.m. yesterday. She is due here on Monday. PORT OF ONEHUNGA. f ARRIVALS.
