FOUND DROWNED.
[by telegraph.— association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. The body found on the north beach, T ew Brighton, yesterday, has been identified as that of Frank Jar vis, formerly employed as a gook at Warners' Hotel. He was single an& had no relations in New Zealand. A verdict of death by drowning was returned at the inquest.
