Hauraki.—The preparatory' work for locating Degge's reef at the lower levels is well in hand, and a start with mining will be made in a few days.
Ohinemnri.— north drive on tha Camoola reef is now in 99ft. A rich sulphide stringer has been met with on the hangingwa.il side of the drive, and continues to the present face. The Silverstream crosscut has been extended 78ft. Good country is being met with, stringers of quarts showing across the face.
