(Reed. 8.45 p.m.) W. The Department of Labour „ that more than 5000 immigrants are arriving in New York daily, and approximately (700,000 arrived in the United States during the year ending June 30. Foreign steamship companies have reported to the immigration officials that all available accommodation for a year in advance has been booked by prospective immigrants.
