The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaka is expected to arrive from London, via- Wellington, to-day. • She has 4000 tons of gereral cargo -for here, and will berth at the Queen's Wharf to dis. charge. The Mokoia, which was expected to arrive from Suve, on Saturday afternoon, forwarded a wireless message yesterday to the effect ♦.hat she was meeting with a strong southerly gale. She entered the harbour about 1280 o'clock this morning. She will berth this morning at the Queen's Wharf to land her passengers, and will then proceed to Chelsea to discharge her cargo of raw sugar. RIVERINA FROM SYDNEY. A wireless message was received from the Riverina yesterday, stating that she expected to reach Auckland from Sydney at 1.30 p.m. to-day. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf, and is announced to return to Sydney at noon on Thursday. • THE PACIFIC MAIL STEAMERS. The R.M.S. Niagara is due at Auckland to-morrow morning from Sydney. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf, and will sail for Vancouver, via ports, at noon on Wednesday. The R.M.S. Tahiti arrived at Vancouver from Auckland, via ports, at 7 a.m. last Wednesday, and is announced to sail for Auckland and Sydney, via ports, on Satur'>y. She will Joe due here about September 8. NEW FEDERAL LINER. The Cornwall is the latest addition to the Federal Line. She was built this year by Messrs. W. Hamilton and Co., of Port Glasgow. The Cornwall is a twin-screw steamer of 10.125 tons, carrying Lloyd's Al class. She has a length of 495 ft lin. beam of 68ft lin. and depth of 31ft Sin. The Cornwall is propelled by two sets of gosrsd steam turbines, and has a fine turn of speed.
