CONGESTED COURT WORK.

POSITION AT HAMILTON. [BT TELEGRAPH. CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Tuesday. The urgent need for the appointment of a resident magistrate in the town and the division of the present Hamilton magisterial district was referred to at last night's meeting of the Chamber of Commerce. It was stated that the present district was too large for one man to cover, and the magistrate, Mr. H. A. Young, was much overworked. The work at the Court had been banking up for months, and litigants were suffering through neglect on the part of the Justice Department to realise the true position. It was decided that the Department of Justice be impressed with the urgent necessity for immediately appointing a second magistrate for the district
