Saturday. • The return match between tho Auckland And Thames representative teams was played 1 hero to-day in excellent -weather, and in the ; presence of 2000 spectators. ( Auckland kicked off and had Thames on the defensive, but good work by At. Hayward and Buchan cleared, and tho ball was worked to the other end of the field, but a free kick relieved.
