In the Jarvis-Keenan professional lightweight contest., the form of the local boxer certainly surprised a. great majority of local iv??f Ms + nt fe lsiast^> 7 h< \ were of the opinion that the New Zealand professional lightweights had but a poor chance of victory over Jaryis. Holmes, or Volaire. It would appear, however, that with a little more ring experience Keenan should prove more than capable of holding bis own with the best of them. The Northern Boxing Association has matched Keenan and ■ Jarvia for » return contest fo? a purse of £200. to take place next month.
