STRIKERS' REINSTATEMENT.A POLITICAL CHALLENGED A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, May 26. Mr. Weurne, loader of the Progressiva Party, has threatened not to support the Government if it reinstates the Government strikers of 1917. The Labour secretary,' Mr. Carey, says the challenge will be accepted, and the Government will restore the rights of the victimised unionists irrespective of consequences. OFFICIALS TO BE RETIRED.
