LONDON, May 27. . s~.rasß.in, head of the Russian Trade' Envoys, has arrived hero, and has joined his colleagues in a delegation ostensibly negotiating with tho Allied Economic Council, but he is suspected of seeking recognition of the Soviets. The Envoys are accompanied by 22 experts, eecretarys, and others. Krassin is described as an engineer, who was closely associated vr'th German business interests before 1917. Australian and N.Z. There is a disposition in some quarters to believe that the meeting between Krassin, the Bolehevik trade delegate) and the Allied Economic Council is likely to pave the way for political negotiations: if the Bolshevists guarantee that military j •enterprises outside Russia will cease., Krasein bears tho reputation of holding moderate political views.
