The Hutt River Board requires the followin;; Machinery in connection with installation of Dredging Plant, viz.: — (1) Two (2) SUCTION GAB ENGINES. capable of developing not legs than 60 and 45 continuous effective horsepower respectively, connected to Gas . Producer Plants, suitable for the use . . of Bituminous Coal or Coke fuel, to be capable of continuous operation. (2) One (1) STONE CRUSHER, with 9in , jaws, complete, capable of crushing from 7 to 9 tons per hour; also Revolving Screen with steel shafting, :iin diameter, and Plummer Blocks complete, 4ft by 24ft. Screen to be . made of 3-16 mild steel plate with meshes 3-16 in. Jin, and llin; and ONE ELEVATOR, vith mild steel buckets !'2in by 7in by "Jin by lin. the buckets to be secured to endless chains of the Ewart type link bell, working over suitable sprockets top , and bottom. (3) REVOLVING CRANE, with 40 feet radius, to lift 2 or 3 tons maximum load 30 feet high (alternative tenders for respective loads), and be capable of operating through two-thirds of a circle, to be driven by power from the counter-shaft provided for stonecrushing and screening plant.
