DUNEOIN RESOLUTIONS. "THE HAND OF COMRADESHIP." [BV TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Friday ' The Seamen's Union at a general meeting resolved That thii meeting of members of the Dunedin Local Federated Seamen's Union unanimously endorse the action of the railway employees in attempting to bring about a more humane system in their working conditions and further increase in their altogether insufficient wage. We extend to them the hand of comradeship in the ; r fight, a>.,d I fervently hope that their fight will meet i with all success."
Tho executive of the Otago Labour Council to-day forwarded a resolution to the secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants and -the Enginedrivers, Firemen. md Cleaners' Association, congratulating the railway workers upon their determ ration to bring to an end the " scandalous procrastination " of the Government in dealing with their clai:ns for adequate remuneration and better conditions.
