DEATH SENTENCES IN WAR.
I Pre*. Association. LONDON. April 20. It the House of Lords today Lord Pee!, Parliamentary Secretary to the Wai Office, stated that the death sentences passed during the whole wartime nurrbered in all theatres 3076 officers and men, but only 343 we're carried out. All the latter were confirmed before execu- , tion by the Commander-in-Chief.
